About Aroma Espresso Bar

I’m excited to introduce Aroma Espresso Bar, a café-style spot that fits effortlessly into the daily rhythm of downtown Toronto. Located at 661 University Ave, Toronto, ON M5G 1X6, Canada, this place feels like a natural pause button between meetings, classes, or a long walk through the city. The vibe leans modern and relaxed, the kind of café where conversations flow easily and laptops don’t feel out of place. From the moment you step in, the focus on quality coffee is obvious, with rich aromas setting the tone and a menu designed for people who want something satisfying without slowing down. Aroma Espresso Bar keeps things flexible too, offering outdoor seating when the weather cooperates, along with delivery, takeaway, and comfortable dine-in options that match different schedules. What really stands out is how approachable the food feels. Alongside well-crafted coffee, you’ll find healthy options that don’t feel like an afterthought, quick bites that work for busy afternoons, and vegetarian choices that are flavorful rather than filler. It’s the kind of café where you can grab a fast espresso on the way to work, then come back later for a more relaxed meal without feeling like you’ve switched venues. The menu balances simplicity with variety, making it easy to choose whether you’re in a rush or settling in for a longer stay. I often describe Aroma Espresso Bar as a reliable favorite, because it consistently delivers a smooth, unfussy experience that works for locals and visitors alike. Everything about the space, from service flow to menu design, supports an easygoing café culture that feels current, practical, and welcoming. For me, it’s also a spot that encourages repeat visits, since the atmosphere stays consistent while still feeling lively, and the café setup makes it easy to meet friends, refuel solo, or simply enjoy a calm moment with a cup in hand.

I really love all the food here; it’s all so healthy and tasty. The butter croissants are excellent and very flakey; truly French. Cappuccino is perfect every time. The salads divine! I do agree with the other comments about the prices; they are way too high for what you get. I would eat here more if they weren’t so pricey.

I ordered a latte so i was expecting a regular or whole milk latte - which didnt happen. im not entirely sure why they defaulted to skim milk. Because of the skim milk the burnt taste in their roast was very overpowering so when i got to work i had to add more cream to make up for that. Overall im not a fan of their latte but might try it again in the future. However....THEIR PISTACHIO CROISSANT MADE MY DAY. Oh my god it is one of the best croissants ive eaten in a long while . Theres a delicious pistachio creme frosting on top with crunchy pistachio peices as well as a pistachio cream (ganache?) Inside. They lightly warmed the croissant but somehow it wss still flakey and crisp. Its a bit expensive so not something id have every day but definetly worth splurging for. The inside is cute but small with a ton of rush...so its would proabably not be the best place to study or have a meeting.
